STORYLINE:

The film opens in the year 1920 at Palampur, India. An architect arrives at a large haveli (manor house). The manager of the haveli, MK, discusses how the owner of the haveli wishes to have it torn down and have a hotel constructed in its place. Later that night, the architect hears strange sounds, and when he goes out to investigate, he is killed by a mysterious force. It turns out the architect who was engaged before him was killed in a similar manner some time ago.

The film introduces another architect, Arjun Singh. Arjun is religious (he recites the Hanuman Chalisa every day) and devoted to his family; but he is also in love with Lisa. This meets strong disapproval from his family because Lisa (born of a British father and an Indian mother) is of mixed faith. Arjun decides to marry Lisa anyway. As he travels to Mumbai, his father and his brothers intercept his car, beat him up and try to burn Lisa alive. Arjun fights back and decides to disavow his faith (and thus, his family) for Lisa. STORYLINE:

Irfan Khan Iliyazi, the son of a railway coolie, was born in Bombay, who started his career as a pick-pocket. At the age of 17, he killed his opponent and scattered his body parts on nearby railway tracks. He then went on to become an gangster as well as started dealing in drugs, narcotics, and acquiring multiple identities/passports from Mumbai, Indore, and Sultanate of Oman. On August 10 the Mumbai Police had him cornered at the airport while attempting to flee to Dubai, but Irfan escapes and re-locates to Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Once there, he plans his escape by disguising himself and arranging the hijacking of an Indian Airlines plane to Kathmandu, Nepal, and thence making his way to Dubai. The Indian Police announce they will reward anyone who apprehends this fugitive dead or alive. Everything goes according to plan - until Irfan gets on the plane. This is where he will end up getting abducted by four naive and inexperienced youth.

STORYLINE:

A four member team  — Vir Vijay Singh (Danny Denzongpa), Vikram (Milind Soman), Sheeba (Dipannita Sharma), and Victor (Sushant Singh)  — belonging to the Revenue Intelligence Wing of Indian Government, who have been wrongly implicated in the killing of their corrupt superior officer and removed from service, are hired by the Chief of the same agency to investigate a series of large illegal money transfers. The team is equipped with hi-tech equipment such as mini spy cameras, computers, internet and other communication devices. Through various encounters they discover that the money is being transferred to a Swiss Bank account. They investigate the account in Switzerland and, with the help of Sonal Joshi (Aditi Gowitrikar), find that the money is being transferred to an international terrorist organization. STORYLINE:

The film is the story of the relationship between a woman, Meethi, (Konkona Sen Sharma) who suffers from schizophrenia, and her sister Anjali (Shabana Azmi).
